The Duluth School District needs friendly Nutrition Assistants to help prepare and serve nutritious meals to the students of our community.
We offer convenient weekday shifts (no nights or weekends!) in our kitchens . These flexible positions vary in duration from 3 to 6 hours and include a free lunch daily! Positions over 24 hours/week also qualify for our amazing healthcare benefits package
Nutrition Assistants aid the manager with various tasks, including the preparation of meals by cleaning, peeling, cutting and portioning fruit, vegetables, and other ingredients. The Assistant's duties also include serving meals to students in a timely and safe manner, as well as properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas.
