Purpose
Pour Castle Danger Brewery beers for taproom guests, while providing friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Use our POS system to complete accurate sales transactions of beer and merchandise. Maintain a high standard of overall cleanliness and security of the taproom.
Shift: Flexible. Evenings and weekends needed. We provide paid time off, free beer, employee discounts on merch, and paid training.
Duties
Work taproom as scheduled
Complete alcohol serve-safe course
Clean, sanitize, and fill growlers
Pour and serve beer
Check identification of guests to verify age to consume beer
Answer questions about CDB and its beers
Change kegs
Open and close taproom
Process payments for beer and merchandise
Bus tables and wash/stock glassware
Maintain cleanliness and order in the taproom
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be passionate about craft beer
Must be able to work nights and weekends – must be flexible!
Previous service experience is required
Excellent communication skills
Ability to speak and interact effectively with customers and coworkers
Excellent customer service
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and environment
High standard for cleanliness
Basic mathematical and computer skills
Use POS/reservation system, handle money, and give correct change
Physical Requirements
Walk and stand during entire shift
Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe
Remain stationary for long periods of time
Ability to lift 55+ lbs
Team lift 170lb
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
