This is an entry-level position responsible for performing a wide variety of functions in support of Global Radiological Operations COE. This role will have potential of up to 10% travel, international travel.As a Manufacturing Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Duluth, GA location on an Onsite work schedule.In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will guide to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our manufacturing operations. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.KEY RESPOSIBILITIES Provides entry-level support to the radiological group in support of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Integration Centers in Vancouver, Canada, Tianjin, China and Pune, India. Assists in organizing and administering the program for periodic radiological testing of sensors at Honeywell customer sites. Assists in the controls of radioactive materials inventories stored in Honeywell facilities, globally. Assists Honeywell ISC, project teams and field service employees and customers with problems and inquiries related to radiation safety. Provide routine support to ISC for loading radioactive sources, radioactive material licensing and shipment of radioactive materials. Must be willing to work in an environment involving ionizing radiation exposure. Be able to respond to emergency calls 24/7 and resolve them within the guidelines that meet or exceed our contract customer expectations and requirements. Team player, comfortable with being the lead support person on site. Understand Honeywell’s product line and provide customers with guidance of application, life cycle management, best practices, benefits, savings/cost and other factors influencing business decisions.
