As a Program Director, you will be responsible for the development, coordination, and management of daily operations within the Unit Based Department (IHS and 24 HR EA). This role includes overseeing all aspects of the program to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Unit Based Department, ensuring that all services are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest standard.Staff Training and Development: Ensure orientation, ongoing training, and professional development for staff to maintain high performance and compliance with best practices.Behavioral Support: Demonstrate effective de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, and positive support methods while using a person-centered approach with individuals exhibiting significant mental health symptoms, aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury, or cognitive impairments.Plan Implementation: Understand and implement behavior support plans, treatment plans, individualized support plans, and person-centered plans.Judgment and Assessment: Assess situations, make sound judgments based on guidance and priorities, anticipate potential outcomes, and react appropriately.Individual Support: Provide effective one-on-one support with individuals.Time Management: Plan and prioritize work efficiently to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks, including self-management and clear communication of needs.Financial Best Practices: Assist in maintaining financial best practices within the department, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.Communication: Maintain direct communication with the supervisor and ensure access to guidance and support.
