Maintenance Mechanic1st shift$24-$27/HRDescription:
Responsible for maintaining punch presses, welders, forklift, air compressor and other production equipment, tools, and supplies.
Also responsible for building maintenance. Trouble shooting, streamlining and improving production processes.
Essential functions and Responsibilities:
Trouble shoots any problems that arise with production and equipment.
Fabricate and modify Shutes for scrap.
Streamline and improve production processes.
Perform and record daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance on production equipment. Notify management when outside service is needed.
Maintain tools and supplies for production jobs. (Rivet guns, grinders etc. and the supplies needed for them.) Notify purchasing when supplies are needed.
Minor building maintenance not requiring a professional. Notify management when service is needed.
Outdoor maintenance not provided by outside vendor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
One year certificate from college or technical school; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with electrical schematics and manufacturing blueprint.
