Description We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team in the south metro, Minnesota area. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support and help our office transition to a paperless system. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity in the administrative industry. Responsibilities:
Handle scanning and sorting of documents to assist in the transition to a paperless office
Perform clerical duties like data entry and file organization
Operate scanning equipment and manage digital filing systems
Use software tools like OneDrive and PDF for document management
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in repetitive tasks
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds when necessary
Ensure all customer and business information is accurately recorded and updated
Respond to customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
Proficiency in carrying out clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning documents.
Skill in operating office equipment, especially scanners, for document scanning and other tasks.
Demonstrated ability in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in organizing files, both paper and digital, for easy retrieval and tracking.
Familiarity with digital document storage platforms, particularly OneDrive.
Ability to convert documents into PDF format for sharing and storage.
Capable of managing and maintaining paper files efficiently.
Previous experience in similar roles, ideally as an Office Assistant.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of discretion for handling confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
