MUST BE IN THE LONGVILLE, MINNESOTA AREA OR WITHIN A 15 MINUTE DRIVE!

Part time work that can be done in YOUR home , we can drop off + pick up the product for you to QC + package.

THE JOB:

Turning small fabric products inside out, QC’ing them (checking for flaws etc) & then packaging them in plastic bags.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. You will need sharp eyes to check for flaws etc….

2. Able to work at a good pace! If you’ve worked in fast paced food service, production, or manufacturing this will be easy for you.

3. Small to normal size hands (a weird callout, we know!): The fabric product being packaged is on the smaller side (2 “x 2” x 4”ish) and folks with larger hands often have trouble turning them inside out.

THE PAY:

Pay is piece work, per pack! Now through December is our busy season. We typically need 36-48 packs per week, each pack pays $6-7 each ($216-$288 paid weekly upon completion of packs). The slowest we’ve had anybody package is 3 packs per hour, but most people can do 4 (comparable to an hourly rate of $18-$24 per hour)!

Our production volume can fluctuate from January on, but we usually still need at least 30-34 packs a week after December (this past year our volume stayed around 36-40 packs per week).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO WORK FROM HOME:

1. A table + comfortable chair at an ergonomic height (we can work with you to provide this if you don’t have it!).

2. Good lighting (if you don’t have this, we can also provide you a bright lamp for detail work!).

3. This setup needs to be in a clean environment where the product can be packaged without getting damaged, stained or exposed to pet hair (ex: the floor or a kitchen table in a shared environment not a good fit-you get the idea!)

SCHEDULING:

We’ll work with you to figure out a convenient schedule! Typically we drop off product to be packaged on Monday (to be picked up Thursday) OR on Friday (to be picked up Monday), we can be flexible on the days we drop off, but generally we need to pickup packaged products 3-4 days after we drop off. Please note there will be no work between December 17th -January 5th (that our yearly winter break!). We also take breaks for Memorial day (the whole week), 4th of July (the whole week), Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Wednesday- Sunday.

This kind of work is repetitive and a bit boring, but easy! This would be a great opportunity for someone that has a few hours to spare in the evenings, free weekends or just wants to earn some extra cash for the holidays.

IF YOU THINK THIS IS A FIT FOR YOU-SEND US AN EMAIL! LOCATION MUST BE 15 MINUTES FROM LONGVILLE!
