We have both 1 and 2 Bedroom Units. Each unit is approximately 800 square feet and offers guests a comfortable and memorable stay by the lake. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to ensure our units are maintained to the highest standards between guest bookings.

Primary Duties
Unit Turnover Cleaning:
Bedrooms:
Strip used linens and replace with fresh linens.
Make beds neatly and attractively.
Dust all surfaces, including nightstands, dressers, and headboards.
Clean mirrors and glass surfaces.
Vacuum or sweep floors.
Check under beds and in closets for any left items.
Bathrooms:
Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
Clean mirrors and countertops.
Replenish toiletries (soap, shampoo, toilet paper).
Empty trash bins and replace liners.
Tighten toilet seats if loose.
Kitchen:
Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, stovetops, and appliances.
Clean inside the microwave and refrigerator (remove any guest items).
Wash and put away any dishes left.
Restock kitchen supplies (dish soap, paper towels, coffee supplies).
Living Areas:
Dust all surfaces, including tables, shelves, and electronics.
Vacuum upholstery and rugs.
Arrange furniture neatly.
Floors:
Vacuum all carpets and rugs.
Sweep and mop hard floors.
Windows and Doors:
Clean interior windows and reachable exterior windows.
Wipe down door handles and frames.
Final Touches:
Ensure all lights are functioning; replace bulbs as needed.
Set thermostat to appropriate temperature.
Stage the unit to be welcoming for the next guests.
Secure the property (lock doors and windows as appropriate).
Laundry Management:
Collect used linens and towels.
Launder linens and towels on site and off-site when needed.
Ensure a ready supply of fresh linens and towels is available.
Cleaning Supply Management:
Maintain and organize the laundry room and cleaning closets.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and consumables.
Communicate supply needs to the management team promptly.
Exterior Maintenance:
Regularly pick up trash and debris from the yard to maintain a clean appearance.
Trim and maintain plants and shrubs to keep landscaping neat.
Perform seasonal duties such as raking leaves or removing snow and ice from walkways (if applicable).
Monitor the property's exterior for any issues and report significant landscaping concerns to management.
Common Area Maintenance:
Keep the main common area hallway clean and presentable.
Address any cleanliness issues in shared spaces during visits.
Miscellaneous Duties:
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or guest concerns to management promptly.
Assemble small furniture items as required.
Maintain a professional demeanor when representing the property.
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, especially in vacation rentals or hospitality settings.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure each unit meets quality standards.
Reliability: Dependable and able to manage time effectively to meet turnaround times between guest stays.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel to and from the property and to launder linens off-site if necessary.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with management and report any issues.
Legal Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work.
What We Offer
Competitive Pay: $75 per unit cleaned. With 3-4 units cleaned per week, potential earnings range from $225 to $300 per week.
Flexible Scheduling: Cleaning is required between guest check-outs (10am) and our check-in time (4pm) on the day of all check-outs. On average, you can expect 3-4 cleanings per week. You will have access to guest check-out days and receive automated texts with new cleaning days and reservation alterations.
Supportive Management: Responsive management team to assist with any needs or concerns.

Additional Information
Expected Workload: Approximately 3-4 cleanings per week, subject to booking schedules.
Independent Contractor Position: This is an independent contractor role. The selected candidate will be required to complete relevant forms upon starting, including any necessary tax documentation.
Supplies and Equipment: Cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided. Any additional supply needs should be communicated to management or ordered through our business Amazon account.
