We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics and repairs on powertrain systems, including engines and transmissions.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems, ensuring all components function correctly.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and diagnostics.
Familiarity with powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and ADAS technology is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus but not required.
