Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our applications and services. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our DevOps environment. You will participate in a variety of cross-functional team projects, including the planning, design, and implementation of new/updates to existing Cloud components and CI/CD pipelines.Principal Accountabilities: Engineering and AdministrationDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure DevOps.Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.Ensure all environments are kept current and consistent to increase reliability and quality of continuous integration and deployment efforts.Leverage the latest cloud technologies and services to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.Provide necessary documentation for all applications and systems.Provide off-hours support, as needed, to support updates and address technical issues.Maintenance & ProjectsMonitor Cloud Services, Systems, Network to ensure optimal performance.Applying security patches and updates to cloud infrastructure to protect against vulnerabilitiesEvent Response – respond to and report systems failures and security eventsOff Hours response and support for High severity incidentsMaintain technical documentation for solutions and standard operating procedures such that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner.Recommend and perform DevOps configuration adjustments to solve problems. Manage multifaceted and technically sophisticated projects and on-going operations.Meet project and task deadlines.Service/System Improvements Identify and bring forward improvement ideasContinually look to improve and refine DevOps environment delivered to the business, globally.Maintain knowledge of emerging technology.Help define and meet SLA requirements for DevOps and IaC environment.Contribute deep technical skills, and industry experience and best practices to the rest of the team, driving change.Communication & CollaborationCommunicate effectively, verbally and in writing with people at all organizational levels.Work in a team environment making positive contributions to the organization.Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff members, customers, and vendors.Other duties as assigned or required.
