Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Blaine, Minnesota. In this role, you will be primarily involved in the processing and management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) Efficiently handle and process Accounts Receivable (AR) Assist with the restructuring processes as required Maintain precise records related to customer credit Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Uphold a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail throughout all tasks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPA certification is a plus.
