Description We are searching for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Blaine, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring clean and timely financial data, managing payroll, and reconciling bank statements with general ledger accounts. You will also be handling new employee onboarding, processing accounts payable, and overseeing customer accounts.Responsibilities: Oversee the management of bi-weekly payroll including vacation and PTO. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements with general ledger accounts. Proactively find and fix inaccurate data in checking account reconciliations. Oversee the reconciliation of company credit card spending with general ledger entries. Finalize month end and year-end financial closing processes. Handle payroll processing, including sales and use tax returns, 1099s, and other compliance filings. Conduct new employee onboarding processes effectively. Process accounts payable on a daily basis, match and batch code invoices, and resolve AP issues. Review open purchase orders and partner with Purchasing to ensure timely posting. Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed. Manage the process of verifying, logging, and processing payments. Collaborate with Customer Service to generate customer invoices. Oversee and manage the collections process, cash applications, and reconciliations. Proactively contact customers to help resolve payment issues and assist in setting up payment plans. Manage credit reports on new customers. Review, monitor, and process expense reports in the company’s system. Undertake special projects to drive ERP maximization. Perform filing, correspondence, and other ad hoc functions as necessary. Assist with periodic, internal, and external audits as needed.
