Quality Assurance Technician- 1st shift. Posted: 5/9/2024Location: Benson, MN1st shift hours: 7am-4pmCommunicates with QA manager and others within the company to assure quality standards are in place and continuously achieved.Keeps and maintains quality assurance records and documentation.Conducts dart testing to confirm impact test (document results).Performs cleanliness testing conducts, submit and retain all documentation.Develops Corrective Action Plans (CAR’s)/8D to submit to customer. Works with production to complete and submit to customer in time frame given.Handles warranty package reviews and debates and submission to leadership team for approval.Investigates customer notifications of compliance to their quality requirements with root cause determination.Compiles and distributes Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports for new and old parts.Performs quality testing per customers’ specifications on various products and maintains accurate documentation.Keeps Return Good Authorization (RGA) and Material Review Board (MRB) areas organized, and provides a list of items in area (rework log)Maintains Customers Portals and completes all tasks given by customers on time.Performs a hands-on review of Research & Development processes to ensure good part, may require measuring, testing of parts.Handles burst testing of required tanks completed and on track.Other duties as assigned.A pre-employment drug screen and physical are required.
