Description:The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Doors and Paint lines and other project support. This individual will be supporting key responsibilities such as. Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements Support of fabrication and assembly operations focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Work closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem-solving and root-cause analysis Lead continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principles Lead cost reductions and yield improvements with delivery partners Utilize sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiatives Improve equipment capability and reliabilitySkills:Manufacturing engineering, Lean manufacturing, fabrication, continuous improvement, Six Sigma, process engineering, Manufacturing process, Machining, Process improvementAdditional Skills & Qualifications:4 Year Degree in Engineering or Technology2-5 Years of Hands-on Equipment Experience2-5 Years experience in supporting linesStrong Understanding of Lean, SPC, and Process CapabilitiesDiversity, Equity & Inclusion At Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
