HR Recruiter

Description We are offering a contract HR Recruiter role in the Construction/Contractor industry, based in Avon, Minnesota. This role is remote but requires candidates to reside within Minnesota. You will be actively involved in the full recruitment cycle, from initiating hire requisitions to making employment offers and overseeing onboarding. The role focuses on ensuring all positions are filled in alignment with the company culture and in a timely manner.Responsibilities include: Complying with local, state, and federal employment laws while following the company's recruitment program. Engaging with various agencies, applicants, colleges, and universities to ensure a diverse candidate pool. Collaborating with Hiring Managers to obtain job descriptions, job type codes, and compensation information, and to develop recruiting and sourcing strategies. Partnering with Sourcers to develop sourcing programs, ensuring effectiveness, consistency, and compliance with the overall strategic plan. Professionally representing the company to all applicants, employment agencies, universities, etc., and providing the highest level of customer service. Evaluating profiles of potential candidates, performing necessary phone screen assessments, and scheduling and attending face-to-face interviews as needed. Negotiating and making job offers for positions in a timely manner. Tracking progress on each candidate in the applicant tracking system and reporting staffing initiatives and progress to the supervisor regularly. Assisting with college/university career fairs and Jobsite job fairs as needed. Monitoring market trends and sharing information with hiring managers and/or other stakeholders to ensure our positions, titles, compensation, benefits are competitive. Assisting department employees with various projects during times when additional support is needed. Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR Recruiting Proficiency in Volume Recruiting and Recruiting Sources Experience in Recruiting Personnel in the construction/contractor industry Expertise in Full Cycle Recruiting, including posting jobs and extending offers Ability to create and Develop Job Descriptions Skills in screening candidates efficiently and effectively Experience in creating Offer Letters and managing Expense Reports Must be able to participate in Job Fairs and use Applicant Track System Must be able to work effectively with a team and independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
