The population also includes individuals civilly committed for specialized care, such as competency for criminal court (Rule 20), emergency 48-hour bed holds, and co-occurring mental illness/chemical dependency. Located just 15 minutes north of the Twin Cities metro, this modern facility offers compassionate, person-centered care in a pleasant environment appreciated by patients and employees alike.In the role of Security Services Training Specialist, you will create and deliver learner-centered, performance-based training by designing, delivering and evaluating security and safety focused training for AMRTC staff.Job Duties:

Facilitate new and current employee training activities that pertain to safety/security.

Participate in activities that result in design, delivery and/or evaluation of effective learning and development programs and materials related to safety and security.

Assist others in the coordination and implementation of training activities and programs related to safety and security.

Minimum QualificationsOne (1) year of experience in supporting training and development functions:

Assessing organizational needs

Preparing training materials

Evaluating training

Communicating with and supporting learners

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Development (HRD), Organizational Development, Education, Communications, or related field.

Experience demonstrating knowledge of relevant security policies and procedures.

Understanding of hospital safety and security functions.

Experience in administering learning management systems.

Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, instructional design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effectiveness.
