Collections Specialist

Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist to support a manufacturing team located in Zeeland, Michigan. This role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and performing collection duties in a professional manner. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, and is a hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities: Manage customer details with accuracy and efficiency Handle requests for invoice copies in a timely manner Extract invoice data from the system for record-keeping and compliance Conduct outbound collection calls in a professional manner, ensuring customer relations are maintained Perform tasks related to Accounts Receivables as required Report unresolved issues to management as necessary Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various tasks Handle customer invoices and billing functions Respond to inbound calls as part of customer service Work with Fusion software for efficient account management and collection processes.Requirements Proven experience in the role of a Collections Specialist, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Advanced knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Experience with answering inbound calls in a professional manner. Familiarity with standard billing functions and customer invoicing. Knowledge of standard collection processes and techniques. Proficiency in using Fusion software in a business setting. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Must possess strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and reliability.
