We need YOU!Where the chemistry happens…As a Research Technician II for our Wyandotte, Michigan RGA/FN research unit (Wet Chemistry Lab) you will build a meaningful career providing testing support for BASF’s manufacturing, R&D, and technical service groups.During your shift as a Research Technician II, you will Use your experience running a wide range of analytical testing equipment, such as pH meters, balances, titrators, density meters, viscometers, ovens, GCs, FTIR spectrometer, and LIMS & SAP data systems. Combine your attention to details with proactive communication and customer focus as you work in a fast paced and dynamic and collaborative work environment. Use your strong time management skills and ability to run multiple instruments and requests with varying priorities while delivering results in a timely fashion. Conduct analytical testing following cGMP and ISO 9001 guidelines. Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner. Continue to learn other analytical testing (for example: other standard analytical testing, biodegradation lab testing, etc.) to support other labs in ANA department to meet varying workload demands. Have the ability to work a later shift to provide longer lab coverage for the wet chemistry lab and occasional weekends and offshifts (10-25%) to support intermittent production campaigns and urgent testing as needed.If you Have a minimum of an Associate degree and 2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Demonstrate a high level of initiative and work independently. Demonstrate an understanding of multiple lab instruments. Knolwedge of automatic titrators would be a plus.
