Saw Operator

SUMMARY: Responsible for stocking, measuring, and cutting raw stock in accordance with machine specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintain compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards.Manufacture items to drawings and bill of materials, ensuring production quality and quantity as scheduled. Use precision measuring equipment proficiently.Operate and maintain equipment, including power tools, forklifts, and cranes. Perform preventative maintenance and ensure good housekeeping practices.Manage raw material inventory, including inspecting, marking, storing, and cutting according to production schedules and specifications.Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report shortages of parts, tools, or materials.Complete administrative tasks, including daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required paperwork.Assist with training new employees and support other departments as needed.
