Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY: Designs, develops, and implements electrical systems controls/programs for blow molding machines and related equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Designs and modifies electrical systems, including cabinets, layouts, schematics, and control programming for various devices (e.g., motor speed controllers, temperature and pressure controllers).Develops logic systems for sequence and timing control, adhering to electrical standards for machinery design.Creates Bills of Materials for electrical system components and prepares electrical instructions and manuals.Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues related to control systems, machine start-ups, and troubleshooting.Uses CAD and design software to create and modify electrical designs.Conducts trial runs of programmed machines and equipment, verifying system conformity to specifications and assisting with debugging as needed.Travels to customer locations for on-site support and attends engineering meetings to exchange ideas and provide information.
