We Are HiringSurgical Technologist / Birthing Center / Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital, Warren CampusFull-time Night Position / 7 pm - 7 am / Every other weekend and rotating holidaysExcellent opportunity to cross train in multiple roles - Patient Care Tech, Unit Assistant and Inventory Coordinator!What You Will DoFacilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.

Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.

Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures.

Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional PreferencesPrior OB experience is preferred.
