Staff Accountant

Description We are located in VICKSBURG, Michigan, and are currently in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role primarily involves planning and directing the accounting operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company.Responsibilities: Plan and direct the accounting operations of the company, including budgeting, planning, investing, and other financial matters. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties. Conduct bank reconciliations. Maintain the General Ledger and Journal Entries. Manage the Month End Close process. Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries Experience in handling Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
