Job DescriptionThis position is a staff specialist for marketing research analysis of DNR customers for purpose of advising DNR executive on how to market DNR customers to maximize DNR revenue and ensure future growth of DNR programs. This position is located in the Marketing and Outreach Division which supports all divisions in the DNR and therefore this position will support all DNR division staff regarding research or analysis of DNR customer data. The staff specialist uses statistics to identify the appropriate DNR customers to target for marketing and advertising. This position consults with other state agencies, statistical data companies, federal government and DNR staff to compile and share data analysis regarding DNR customer behavior, demographics, geographical locations, etc. The incumbent is also responsible for developing DNR marketing strategies for the DNR divisions and DNR executive team as needed.The official workstation of this position will be in either Lansing, Gaylord, Roscommon, Marquette or Escanaba, based on the selected candidate. This position may be eligible for part time remote work.
