Chikaming Country Club is seeking a passionate and skilled kitchen staff and servers to join our team and assist in leading

our dynamic culinary and front of house operations.

Chikaming Country Club is an exclusive private country club, located in Lakeside Michigan. The Club is an hour and 15 minutes from Chicago and Grand Rapids. The Club is open from May to the end of November. This is 7 and half month job starting Mid-April and runs into the first week of December. Great opportunity for a culinary driven individual who is looking to improve their skills and grow in the private club industry. Benefits include five-day work weeks, health insurance stipend, 401 after one year of service, end of season holiday bonus, ability to collect unemployment during closed season, golf privileges. This is a great job for someone that likes the warm northern months during the summer and then can head south and work for a few months in the warm climate in the south during the winter months. Great atmosphere and chance to work with a seasoned experience Executive Chef.

Position Summary:

The Club is looking for experienced line and prep cooks to assist an already outstanding team. Experience is a plus but will train those that have a desire to work in the food and beverage industry. Work with professional staff that will train, coach and lead you to being the best that you can be. Fun atmosphere with many great benefits. We are also looking to hire servers for the summer months. Experience not necessary and will train the right people. Chikaming is a very fun and professional place to work.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to uphold and enhance the club’s reputation for exceptional

dining.

Food preparation, production, and presentation across all dining rooms, events, and

catering functions.

Cook on the line during hours of operation.

Assist with menu development and food ideas

Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and public health regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped kitchen environment.

Flexible hours

Golf privileges on Monday and Wednesday

Meals on duty

401k match after one year of service with the club

Work with a very professional and fun staff
