Seeking an experienced Software Project Manager who will be responsible for managing current and future software features while coordinating efforts between the Program Management Office at GVSC and the prime contractor. Candidates must have an understanding of software from the architecture level, requirements management and project management experience Will be customer facing working with Engineers and project managers to adhere to specifications and add new software features throughout the life of the program. Will support and lead defense programs
Responsible for merging new capabilities to platform and working with prime potential to get them to specs
Will work directly with both government personnel and prime integrators to manage and coordinate development activities
Responsible for creating new features that need to be created and developed as the program progresses
Higher level architecture oversight
Working with government customer to understand the interfaces and modifications
Supporting XM30 development

5 plus years of project management or program management experience
Engineering degree - mechanical, electrical, CS, CE - flexible so long as the candidate has experience managing engineering projects from a cost/schedule performance perspective
