Job Title: Team LeaderJob DescriptionWe are looking to add Team Leaders to our team. The Team Leader will support the supervisor by monitoring the line for slow-downs, bottlenecks, or any employees that may need assistance. The role requires becoming knowledgeable of all positions in order to effectively cover employees for restroom breaks or unexpected absences. The Team Leader will accurately track all line production and rejects to ensure good counts on finished parts. Additionally, the Team Leader may need to perform visual quality checks and communicate any issues to the supervisor. They will be responsible for preparing for the day by arriving 15 minutes before other employees and sending out daily emails with production numbers.Responsibilities
Support the supervisor by monitoring the line for slow-downs, bottlenecks, or employees needing assistance.
Cover employees for restroom breaks or unexpected absences.
Accurately track all line production and rejects to ensure good counts on finished parts.
Perform visual quality checks and communicate issues to the supervisor.
Prepare for the day by arriving 15 minutes before other employees.
Send out daily emails with production numbers.
Essential Skills
Team Lead experience in a production setting
Leading a team in a manufacturing setting
Overseeing 8 to 18 employees
2-3 years of experience
Familiarity with computers (sending daily email blasts and printing labels for material)

Ability to lead and drive a team culture
Strong communication skills and ability to escalate issues to the supervisor
Ability to lift 30 lbs
Ability to stand on feet for the entire duration of the shift

The environment is clean and organized, providing a great place to work.Work EnvironmentFirst Shift: 6 AM - 2 PM, working some Saturdays but no Sundays, averaging about 50 - 55 hours per week. Includes one 15-minute paid break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. If working over 11 hours, an additional 15-minute break is provided. The Team Lead role is nonunion in an assembly line and stamping press environment. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and a yellow temp vest. The plant enforces a 12-point attendance policy, and employees must be aware of traffic conditions in the area due to construction.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
