Engineering Specialist 0 Mechanical Analysis

Job DescriptionPerform system and sub-system level Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support vehicle design optimization.Analysis to be performed using the BetaCAE software suite including ANSA & META.Perform stress and dynamic calculations for impact, shock and vibration environments.Ability to perform fatigue analysis on structures and various components is a plus.Perform stress analysis on structures and appendages.Perform bolted joint analysis for joint sizing.Derive design load requirements for subsystems and mounting provisions.Prepare summary reports in accordance with internal department standards.Communicate project results to management and customers as required.Interface with design engineers throughout the development process.Perform other duties as assigned.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
