Description We are seeking a Medical Insurance Claims Specialist to join our healthcare team in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan. In this role, you will primarily focus on resolving high volumes of aging insurance claims with payers and providers. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires excellent organizational and time management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with both large insurance company representatives and individual clients to ensure smooth operation. Handle and resolve high volumes of aging insurance claims to maintain the financial health of our organization. Undertake any other tasks as requested by the direct Manager to ensure efficient workflow within the team. Leverage your experience with insurance or accounts receivable to handle denied claims and help improve the claims process. Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to maintain detail & accuracy in all tasks. Use Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for data management and claims processing. Ensure reliability and flexibility with time committed to the position to meet the demands of the job. Use your experience in Medical or Dental Claims Processing to enhance the efficiency of our claims process.Requirements Must have a strong understanding of insurance claims processes and procedures in a healthcare setting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data management and reporting Experience in handling medical claims within the NHS or a similar healthcare organization Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to accurately process and validate medical insurance claims Ability to interpret and apply complex medical insurance policies and regulations Adept at maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of claims Strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines Willingness to stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and insurance policies Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and adhere to confidentiality and data protection regulations.
