Sign-on bonus: $10,000, based on eligibility

Department: Eastwood Residential

Schedule: FULL Time (40 hours per week) Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday 9:30-6; Master's Degree required

Facility: Eastwood Recovery Center

Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.

Administer individual and group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.

Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.

Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

One or more of the following required:

Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

MCBAP credential preferred

High quality therapy skills

Skilled with co-occurring disorders and trauma

Professional and/or personal experience with recovery

Team mentality as a prevailing trait

Exceptional ability to communicate and problem-solve with others

Self-accountability and follow through

Preferred experience with county systems (FOCUS/ODIN/MHWIN)
