Get ready to embark on a journey where every day brings new insights and opportunities to learn.THIS IS A 2024 SUMMER INTERNSHIP.Job SummaryPerforms support tasks for department under the direction of our Director of Underwriting. Acts as a team member and assists the production of renewal and new business activities in the large group commercial market. Will be expected to support projects and analytical work in the business. Also has the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple different areas within the organization including Primary Sales, Sales Operations and the Actuarial Team - Employer Group Division.Essential Functions

Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.

Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.

May analyzes department processes and other Corewell Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.

Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Required

Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program. - Required

Proficient in Microsoft Suite products. Preferred

Time management and organizational skills. Preferred

Strong verbal, written and communication skills with the ability to perform in a team environment. Preferred.
