Eaton’s IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Integration Engineer. This is a hybrid work opportunity based at our Southfield, MI facility.The Advanced Manufacturing Integration Engineer will report directly to the Advanced Manufacturing Leader and is responsible for the execution of the “best-in-class" production processes and throughput. This lead role will support the Product Strategy leader in our Connector and Terminal Product Line.The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:

Create and/or optimize manufacturing automation, advanced manufacturing processes, improvement of processes and equipment/automation, innovation and new product launches (with accountability to insure DFA/DFM and assembly robustness in all phases.)

Partner with strategy leaders to develop and drive execution of product technology roadmaps to position EPC for sustained future growth.

Provide functional expertise and direction to product strategy, engineering, operations and quality leadership.

Manage process flows from inception to phase out, including product launch and support; and resolves problems with existing products working across cross-functional production teams

Qualifications:Required Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Minimum seven (7) years experience in manufacturing

Minimum ten (10) years experience with automotive eyelets, terminals, connectors and/or busbars

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future

No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of Southfield, MI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution

Experience with automation in manufacturing

Experience as a Leader of People

Experience in product development, manufacturing processes and data flow within an ERP/MRP/CRM/SCM systems

Skills:

Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment while balancing competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.

Excellent handle on LEAN. Drives LEAN in the organization and is a mentor to others.

A demonstrated leadership and commitment to high professional ethical standards.

Excellent computer, presentations, administrative, problem solving, and communication skills both verbal and written.

Excellent negotiation skills in challenging situations, both internally and externally.

Ability to effectively handle risk and uncertainty.

Experience in driving aligned actions through groups that don’t directly report to them.

Strong operational and manufacturing acumen and the ability to lead/engage across multiple businesses both internally and externally
