An IT consulting and resource augmentation firm specializing in niche, top-tier IT skill sets is seeking an Account Manager / Business Development ManagerRoles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain honest and friendly relations with clients; build strong relationships to maintain current accounts and to acquire new accounts.
- Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are understood and addressed
- Collaborate with diverse internal teams to address client and resource needs
- Receive and track complaints and escalations to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Collect and maintain data and documents relevant to individual accounts.
- A business-related degree or relevant experience in a professional business and/or sales setting. Other backgrounds making use of similar skillsets may be considered on an individual basis.
- Comfortable meeting clients via phone, online, and in person.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong LinkedIn networking
- Demonstrates clear and concise written communication.
- Professional and courteous in writing and in speech.
- 4+ years prior experience in account management in an IT field.
- General working knowledge of the scope of roles in big data, machine learning, AI, and cloud development.
- Excellent networking skills
