Job Summary: We are currently recruiting for FIVE experienced Warehouse Forklift Operators. These positions require forklift certification and must be able to perform routine tasks in a fast-paced environment. Desirable candidates are able to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hard working. These individuals must be able to work independently and with other staff and management.
Location: Tri-City Area, MI
Position Type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire, all shifts available
Warehouse Forklift Operator: up to $440/wk (DOE)
Warehouse Forklift Operator Duties:
Safely operate forklifts consistently throughout shift.
Maintain cleanliness of the facility and remove any hazards from the area.
Ability to repetitively stack, move, and sort products weighing up to 165 lbs. for delivery loads.
Ability to repetitively lift, load, unload and move products.
May build palletized loads from computer-generated load sheets.
May be required to listen and read work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and shipped.
Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit down fork truck.
Loading and unloading trucks
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Warehouse Forklift Operator Requirements:
A forklift certification and experience (Must)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, and balance
High school diploma or GED required
Own a pair of steel toe work boots and work gloves
A successful candidate has to have a reliable transportation
Proven work history
Be able to pass background check and drug test.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Fulfill all the physical requirements of the job.
Strong reading and writing skills
Must be able to perform basic mathematical skills
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
Valid State of Michigan Driver's license with a good driving record.
