Position is for one or two Home Care Aides to provide care for a quadriplegic in a home in Saginaw Township.
Duties may include bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, meal prep, feeding, providing drinks, turning in a hospital bed, transfers to and from a wheelchair (using a lift), transportation in a wheelchair van (provided), light housework, etc.
Two shifts available: Thursday and Saturday, 3 PM-11 PM and, Sundays, 11 PM-7 AM. Other shifts may be available on an as needed and volunteer basis.
1 year of home care experience required
Experience caring for a quadriplegic desired but not required
CNA desired but not required
Must have a valid driver’s license
A background check may be performed
