DescriptionWe currently have an immediate opening available for a candidate who is knowledgeable with servicing diesel engines, components of medium/heavy duty trucks, vehicles and other mechanical equipment. If you are interested in hearing more or would like to be considered for this role, please respond via email or by phone.Essential Functions:As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining motorized and non-motorized Airline & Aircraft Ground Service Equipment. In this position you will provide a prompt and efficient service by performing the following duties:

Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air

Log equipment numbers to be repaired with description of work to be done on each piece

Inspect, Maintain, Troubleshoot, Replace, Repair or Modify:

engines and transmissions

brakes and braking systems

hydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile lift and conveyor systems

bumpers and body work

bag cart curtains & curtain rods

towing hitches and towing bars

undercarriages, wheels and tires

bushings, shafts, end places, springs, coils, armatures, push rods, valves, manifolds, tubing, hose and wiring

Performs scheduled maintenance including changing oil, filters, checking lights, tires & greasing, replace or repair light components and perform operations check

Replaces worn or broken parts, aligns wheels, adjusts bakes and tightens bearings.

Troubleshoots equipment or components to diagnoses concerns

Make repairs and replace major parts or systems on equipment including: engines, transmissions, electrical, brakes, tires/wheels, Cooling/HVAC, and Hydraulics.

Help estimate time and material costs on repairs

Develops or obtains requisitions for new parts and equipment.

Records paper and electronic records in connection with maintenance performed

Carry out other duties as assigned
