Responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment only under the direct supervision of the staff physical therapist.
The PT Tech assist with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
The PT Tech will participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities within the department
Perform clerical duties, assist with posting of patient charges, participate in all infection control,
departmental equipment training, and all safety programs.
