Job DescriptionTHIS IS A NON-CAREER APPOINTMENT THAT IS LIMITED TO 129 HOURS PER MONTH AND 719 HOURS PER APPOINTMENT Multiple vacancies may be filled utilizing this posting.As a representative of the State of Michigan, greet and provide travel information assistance to the general public. Responsibilities include providing and distributing literature, information, and guidance on travel and vacation activities within the state. Assist in preparing and filling literature displays in the center. Assist in delivery and storage of bulk literature. This State Worker position is for help at the Welcome Center in their literature area. This is not a permanent position, it offers no benefits, the rate of pay is $16.00 per hour, and the hours will not exceed 129 hours per month or 719 hours per appointment.
