In this position, you'll be within in the inner workings of database architecture, planning, building, and developing systems from beginning to end. This Database Developer position will be a full-time opportunity based in the Port Huron, Michigan area.Major responsibilities- Plan out, code, and design relational databases- Supply documentation as well as training to the Database Administrator and other users, when necessary- Generate a database schema based on application related function and type of the data- Build a method for storing future database data Requirements - Enterprise resource planning experience- Linux experience required- Progress 4GL experience desired- Proven knowledge of Unix Environments- Shell scripting experience preferred- Strong familiarity with SQL- Well-founded grasp of XML- Knowledge and know-how to fix potential issues, and experience with industry standards for database operations- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role- Familiarity with query coding and relational databases Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
