Job Description
- Lead the project core team, including assigning responsibility for the different functional areas and holding the team accountable to achieve project deliverables.
- Supervise/evaluate project core team members as defined in Bosch AS role descriptions
- Primary interface to the customer on project activities and deliverables
- Ensure project objectives are met per given parameters, including timing, specification, profit, cost, and budget
- Ensure clean launch of project based on customer and Bosch processes, requirements, and expectations
- Ensure customer sample requirements are met including on-time delivery, technical content, and part maturity
- Identify project risk items, and lead effort for mitigation/resolution including escalation as needed
- Develop program timelines and activity reports to drive the on-time completion of critical tasks.
- Responsible for organizing, leading and tracking activities for implementation of engineering changes within the project
- Coordinate and report status of internal project deliverables (Project Reviews, PER, CPR, etc) using Bosch tools.
- Review timing plans, change requests, specifications, drawings, requirements, etc. to evaluate impact against initial project premises & coordinate change points with applicable stakeholders.
- Create internal sample orders for products & services.
- Manage / communicate internally customer program data for forecast / planning activities.
- Manage data in customer portals and project folders.
- Expected travel at least up to 25% of the time including some international travel.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of previous Program Management, Technical Program Management
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of tier 1 automotive sales / account / project management experience
- PMQ/PMP
- Excellent oral and written (English) language skills
- Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature.
- Ability to create a goal, strategy and plan to support achievement of the mission for the department and the project. This would include understandingthe strengths and weaknesses of the organization and individual team members along with the challenges of each project, defining the priorities and strategy to fulfill specific objectives of the mission, and motivating / supporting / developing / leading the team to execute the proper plans to fulfill the mission.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers and customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook software.Must be capable of learning other software packages (Ex: SAP,SharePoint).
