Job DescriptionThis position’s purpose is to provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment for Tahquamenon Falls State Park’s visitors by cleaning and maintaining the park’s public restrooms and buildings. In addition to cleaning and maintaining restrooms and buildings, the position is responsible for leading State Workers assigned to clean and maintain public restrooms and buildings. The position is required to maintain inventory logs for equipment, tools, and supplies for restrooms, day use facility, lodge and vault toilets at boat access sites, state forest campgrounds and trails. They will also be responsible for maintenance and cleaning records for the restroom and day use facility. The position also assists with visitor services and public contact by responding to visitor questions, providing information during their interactions with visitors, and assisting park officers during medical response and lost person incidents.
