Production Assembler 1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Convey boards or materials from production areas to designated areas.Mix the required grout type and color as directed or per board production sheet.Apply grout to tile joints using floats or other tools.Remove excess grout from boards using damp sponges and other materials.Lift, move, sort, carry or place finished boards in/out of rolling carts.Apply labels to boards as directed or per board production sheet.Use industrial equipment such as sit-down forklift, pallet jack, rolling carts, etc.Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to material type.Uses warehouse management and RF system to pick and pack boards.Able to secure boards for shipping to avoid damage.Ability to inspect, use and maintain equipment in good working order.Lift, move, sort, carry or place materials and items onto/off of pallets or crates.Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled.Responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.Other duties as assigned.Work in other departments as neededKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Motivation:  Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.Planning/Organizing:  Uses time efficiently and keeps work areas organized.Professionalism:  Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.Safety and Security:  Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Adaptability:  Adapts to changes in the work environment (inside, outside, dusty environment, elevated levels); Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Attendance:  Is consistently at work and on time.
