A Validation Engineer job (AUTOMOTIVE SEATING) in Novi, MI is available courtesy of Modis. If you have Validation experience within either automotive seating or interiors then you are asked to apply to this role. In this position you will develop, optimize, and manage test plans that are used to evaluate and/or validate seating products. Validation Engineer job responsibilities include:
Develop, optimize, and manage test plans in accordance with customer, federal, and company requirements. Program coordination of test plans, including samples, fixtures, schedules, signoffs and sample views. Manage a test schedule using validation database and/or customer specific format. Serve as key contact person between the product development team and test labs. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical field required. Three (3+) or more years of experience in the development and execution of automotive seating test plans. Will consider someone with validation experience related to automotive interiors. Knowledge of automotive test methods and automotive test specifications. Test lab experience (equipment, methods, instruments).
