Kelly Services is actively seeking an Inventory Planning Support st for Specialist for a long term (3+ year) engagement with one of our top clients located in Norton Shores, MI.Pay rate: $18/hour + benefits + PTOHybrid work schedule - three days in office, two days remote.This role is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory to support the Bill of Materials BOM requirements. This role includes daily review and action on incoming repair parts, managing cores and repairable materials, coordinating with departments to address part shortages, and preparing regular reports.Duties:

Review and action inventory daily for incoming repair parts, owed cores, and repairable/as-removed material that is usable to support BOM.

Ensure all discrepancies in recovered cores and as-removed material are corrected.

Identify and allocate required new and used material for BOM replenishment.

Ensure timely and accurate allocation to support production and repair schedules.

Coordinate efforts with other departments to identify part shortage situations.

Expedite the acquisition and delivery of new and used parts as needed to meet production demands.

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory status, material allocation, and discrepancies.

Provide insights and recommendations based on report findings to improve inventory management processes.

Qualifications:

Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Must be highly organized and able to work independently.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

High level Excel skills required, must be able to manipulate data and perform report out services.

HS Diploma required, BS degree is preferred.

SAP experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment Modular workspace setting / Weekly hybrid schedule: three days in office, two days remote.Safety Respect and apply safety rules and procedures at all times. Use personal protective equipment PPE and safety devices as required. Promote industrial hygiene and exercise safety precautions. Report incidents and damages to management whether injuries are involved or not. Participate in incident investigation. Report hazards to management. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping in the work area. Be a safety role-model to all employees. Make suggestions to improve safety at the workplace.
