Are you an experienced painter looking for a new challenge? Signature Truck Systems in Houghton Lake, Michigan has an exciting opportunity for you! We are offering a full-time painter position with a base starting pay of $20-22/hr, which may be even higher depending on your experience and skills.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience with manual pressure pot painting of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Please note Any painting experience other than on large industrial trucks and parts does not translate into experience for this position. As our painter, you will be responsible for surface preparation, taping/masking before the painting process, attention to detail, and pride in your work. The ability to work with a sense of urgency is also essential.
We understand that this is a physically demanding role, which is why we are looking for someone who has the physical ability to handle this type of work. You must be able to perform a considerable amount of work that involves the use of arms, legs, moving the whole body for climbing ladders, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, and handling of materials. At Signature Truck Systems, safety is our top priority, and you must adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment and wearing a respirator. You must also pass a confidential medical assessment and respiratory fit test.

This position requires the use of a respirator. With respirator use, a medical questionnaire is required, as well as annual fit-testing.
