We are looking for a part time direct care worker to add to our great team. Various shifts available, mostly afternoon and midnight shifts. Great working environment.
Our Adult Foster Care home has 12 beds total; 6 beds for long term AFC residents and 6 beds for crisis stays. The crisis program is available to Northern Lakes Community Mental Health consumers experiencing an increase in mental health symptoms. The goal of this program is to provide a supportive environment to divert a potential hospital admission or provide a safety net for individuals after a psychiatric hospital stay.
Direct care staff are responsible for providing supervision for residents, facilitating admissions/discharges to crisis program, documenting on resident's progress towards treatment plan goals, administering medication, preparing meals, and doing some light housekeeping. We are a "hands off" home; all clients are independent in self care, able to ambulate independently, no physical restraint etc.
Pay depends on experience and training. Quarterly bonus. CMH training preferred. Evening and weekend hours available.
