The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the home managers. Duties would include but are not limited to assist with daily living activities, hygiene care, housekeeping, administrative duties, training new staff and appointments. In order to do this, the candidate will assist in building and training team, members. Effectively communicate, oversee team members, provide a safe environment, and have the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
Build effective relationships with residence, peers and supervisor to develop a strong team
Training new staff, monthly paperwork, attend meeting/ trainings, and daily hands on with residence to make decisions to provide and improve overall functionality,
Directly supervise the team members, ensuring, and maintaining high quality standards
Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback to all levels of team members
Qualifications
Minimum high school education or equivalent
1-2 years of management experience in healthcare, or a related field.
Strong verbal or written communication skills
Ability to work in a challenging and changing yet extremely rewarding environment.
Compassionate and caring manner when working with individuals with disabilities.
Must be able to multi-task with residence and office duties.
