JOB OBJECTIVE
The General Manager is responsible for all day to day operations of the company.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing production and maintenance staff
Coordinating Food Safety Programs with staff
Coordinating Workplace safety programs with staff
Maintaining the computerized inventory
Financial management/ Treasurer
Coordinate Sales
Human Resource roles (post jobs and interview)
Grower relations
All employees are responsible for reporting any food safety problems to their supervisor or any member of management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicant should have experience in management.
Applicant should have knowledge of the food industry, or a willingness to learn.
Applicant must be able to communicate and work as a team.
College background in management or accounting
Will train the right candidate who has an understanding of the Roles and Responsibilities.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Strong ability to work with / collaborate with staff, management, and positively represent the organization within the community. Must have patience; good communication skills; good math, reading and writing skills. Computer skills such as email, Microsoft Office, and web usage a MUST.

Must be able to identify and utilize office equipment (computer, phone, fax, scanner, copier, printer, etc.)
Occasionally be required to lift and/or move 50-100
Must be able to handle stressful situations
Must be able to effectively manage time
May be exposed to waste and food processing and cleaning chemicals
Must be able to work 5 days per week, and up to 7 days per week during cherry harvest.
Successful candidate will work and train under retiring General Manager
