North American Diesel Parts is looking for a full-time shipping and receiving clerk for our diesel remanufacturing facility in Coopersville. We are looking to hire for this position ASAP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload deliveries using a forklift, or pallet jack
- Label incoming product
- Use UPS program to ship products
- Communicate with a lead-person or manager
- Organize boxes and other packing materials (order as needed)
- Be able to lift heavy products daily
- Inspect the condition of the parts you are shipping (we sell used product and need to make sure items do not leave damaged).
- Package products so they are safe for shipping
- Move materials in and out of work areas and the warehouse as required
- Maintain clean organized work area
- Inventory checks (weekly)
- Create open space for incoming shipments
- Inspect incoming product prior to signing for shipment
- Additional duties may also be included as directed by your lead-person or manager
OTHER DETAILS
- Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
- Benefits include 40 hrs paid vacation after 1 year and 100% employer paid health insurance after 90-days
