The Muskegon site is a new facility for Cytiva and is an expansion of our Resin manufacturing in Uppsala, Sweden. The development of this site is very important to Cytiva as it will give our customers supply security. The early portion of this role will be an active contributor in establishing the facility, as we prepare to receive the manufacturing processes from our sister site in Uppsala.The ligand manufacturing team is the first manufacturing group in the resin manufacturing process. Our process is critical as the quality of our product will affect all the downstream processes. The team is responsible for generating proteins that will then be used by our coupling team to pair them to resin to create our finished product. What you’ll do

Support and participate in activities to establish protein manufacturing in Muskegon

Produce products per the standard operating procedures and work instructions

Maintain quality of products produced according to departmental standards

Record and maintain quality and traceability information

Participate in the development of procedures

Participate in continuous improvement activities

Follow good housekeeping policies

Assist in the maintenance of material inventory

Work as a cohesive team to maintain production schedule and balanced workloads

Mentor and train new team members on standard procedures based on current training level

Follow company safety policies including PPE usage, lock-out-tag-out procedure, and safe operation of equipment.

Work with process and production engineers during troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities

Other duties as assigned

Who you are

High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent, with 3+ years of manufacturing experience

Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Works well in a cross functional team

Attention to detail

Prepared to travel to Sweden for initial and potentially ongoing training

Chemical operations experience preferred

Experience with automation software preferred
