Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in prototype CNC machining and the ability to complete setups, tool changes, offsets, G&M code edits, and work independently. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, perform quality assurance tests, and troubleshoot machinery issues. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shift.Responsibilities
Read technical drawings and set up machines accordingly.
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines.
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
Train new team members on proper CNC machine operation and programming.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
At least three years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma or GED.
Edit G&M codes.
Strong attention to detail.
Skill in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems.
Ability to work independently and follow directions closely.
Positive and professional attitude.
Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Experience in training and developing apprentice CNC Programmers/Operators.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Haas machines and controllers.
Ability to program Mastercam from scratch.
Familiarity with EDM processes.
